Memo Europe is starting the new year with a new corporate identity. The Dutch manufacturer of towbars, bicycle carriers and scooter carriers wants to underline its focus on quality. That is the explanation given by the new managing director Bart Oosterhoff, who took over Memo Europe this summer from the company's founders Ed Muller and Jos van der Stege.

Memo Europe's company vehicles have now been equiped with new decals. ‘A Memo e-bike carrier, a solid choice' is written in robust letters. "With our new corporate identity we want to make it even clearer what we stand for as a brand", explains Oosterhoff. "Solid and sturdy towbars, bike carriers and scooter carriers made in The Netherlands. Literally a solid choice."

Mounting on the chassis

"In my first weeks with Memo Europe I spoke to several dealers. They all gave the same answer to my question as to why they sell our towbars, bike carriers and scooter carriers in their range. Because of the quality. Unlike most bike carriers, our carriers are fitted directly to the chassis of the motorhome. That makes our products ideally suited for e-bikes and scooters."

Increasing demand

Sales figures for e-bikes have been growing for years and this growth will only continue in the coming years. The same applies to the sales figures of motorhomes. As a result, Oosterhoff also expects to see increasing demand for Memo's products over the coming years: "An e-bike can easily cost a few thousand euros. If you want to take it with you on your motorhome in a good and safe way, you need a strong carrier. We don't want there to be any misunderstanding about the fact that with Memo Europe you are making a solid choice."
